Graham Shreeve
Graham Shreeve, an instructor with ESI International, has more than 30 years of experience in leadership and senior management. He is an experienced trainer and facilitator, specializing in project and program management that is based upon the practical application of best practice methods (UK Office of Government Commerce) and recognized bodies of knowledge (the Association of Project Management (APM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI®)). He also has facilitated training sessions in planning and control techniques, risk management, benefit management, and stakeholder management.
Throughout his career, Mr. Shreeve has worked with organizations in both the private and public sector, including Arup, Mouchel, British Nuclear Group, Wolverhampton City Council, Northern Island Office, Birmingham City Council, Fujitsu, Peak Consulting, British Council, Catalyst Housing Association, Vangent Consulting, and the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). His professional experience also includes leading initiatives to improve project management performance and to promote and share best practice in consulting firms; delivering a compliant operations plan to exacting Financial Services Authority (FSA) targets, milestones, and quality standards for pension transfers and reviews; and managing a number of business expansion programs in third-party healthcare administration services.
In addition, Mr. Shreeve has lead an outline business area analysis of actuarial and pension scheme administration services; established a variety of PMO functions to support strategic initiatives; run a problem/change and configuration management service, covering mainframe and client/server systems; and lead a significant number of complex IT development projects and programs in the wholesale insurance, financial services, and manufacturing industries.
Mr. Shreeve is an active member of the UK APM and a committee member of the Programme and Project Support Office Specialist Interest Group (PPSOSIG), where he has participated in several conferences delivering speeches on various topics. He is an accredited PRINCE2™ trainer, a Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) advanced practitioner, and is certified in business management from Open University.“
