James H. Foreman

James H. Foreman is President of Charleston Management Consulting, where he draws on his very extensive personal experience to provide assessments, improvement program design, and executive coaching in the field of project and program management for both corporate and government clients nationwide.
Previously he was with ESI International, the largest provider of project management training in the world, where he spent more than a decade performing a wide variety of functions covering the entire spectrum of ESI’s training and development activities.
He was Vice President of Client Solutions where he supported clients with expertise in diagnosing needs, conducting organizational assessments, designing improvement programs, and establishing Project management Offices. Earlier, Mr. Foreman was Vice President of ESI’s Consulting Division, as well as Vice President of IBM Programs, the largest corporate training program in ESI’s long history.
Jim has provided project management training and consulting services to numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as direct project and program management to government and industry over a span of more than 30 years both in the United States and in Europe. He also has extensive business process re-engineering expertise, especially at strategic organizational levels. In 1995 Jim facilitated the reengineering of the U. S. Marine Corps Information Management Process and was instrumental in establishing the position of
Marine Corps Chief Information Officer.
Jim speaks frequently on the subject of project management at conferences and seminars around the world. He is a former president of the board of directors of the International School of Stuttgart, Germany. He has a B.S. from Yale University and is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
