Assessment and Measurement

Evaluating and benchmarking current capabilities and performance levels allows you to identify and assess skill gaps that impede project execution.

Through the TwentyEighty Strategy Execution assessment process, you are able to:

Organisational Assessments

Projects need to be aligned with employees’ skill levels. The following organisational assessments help uncover potential project management issues, which need support through training:

PM Knowledge and Practices Survey

This online survey measures an organisation’s AS-IS state in terms of the project management practices that exist, the extent to which those practices are being deployed and used consistently by the groups being surveyed, and how that deployment relates to their knowledge of ‘best practice’ in the same areas.

BA Knowledge and Practices Survey

This online survey generates data on a client’s current business analysis working practices and related BA performance, across the full requirements lifecycle.

This survey, which is IIBA-aligned, measures the BA practices that currently exist, the extent to which those practices are being deployed and used consistently by the groups being surveyed, and how that deployment relates to their knowledge of ‘best practice’ in the same areas.

High Performer PM360

Working with a group of nominated ‘high performers’ our Project Manager Competency Model and PM360 assessment tool measures the perceived value and observed impact of specific soft skills behaviours within key stakeholder groups, to get their views on what constitutes project success for the organisation.

Benefits of organisational assessments:

Individual Assessments

Our individual assessments help ensure our training has the greatest impact. By measuring existing knowledge we can target the training to ensure it benefits the learner and the organisation.

The following online assessments consist of 80 multiple-choice questions which take an average of 1.5-2 hours to complete. The results are sent via email, with online access to the report showing all areas needing improvement available for 30 days.

PM Appraise

This measures the knowledge of 33 project management best practices and four project management phases, identified by our subject matter experts and against the knowledge areas of the PMBOK Guide.

BA Appraise

This measures knowledge of 23 business analysis best practices and six business analysis phases, identified by our subject matter experts and against the knowledge areas of the BABOK Guide.

PM360

This measures a project manager’s behaviour and skills in six competency areas (organisation and industry acumen, process expertise, customer focus, team leadership, communication, personal effectiveness) to help identify the best performers and their effectiveness.

It allows project managers to be rated by their direct managers, current and former project sponsors and project team members. The assessment culminates in a detailed and comprehensive report that will help determine employees’ competency levels.
