In the early days of its adoption, the Agile methodology seemed to be diametrically opposed to the process-driven project management office (PMO), which most often corresponded to a Waterfall-style planning and delivery methodology. The two are no longer mutually exclusive. In fact, the discipline of project management has evolved to actively include both methodologies in the enterprise.
