What's a PDU?
A PDU is a Professional Development Unit. Each Project Management
Professional must satisfy the PMP® Continuing Certification requirements
in order to maintain PMP® Certification. A PMP's Continuing Certification
cycle can be identified by the dates on his/her PMP® certificate.
One PDU is given for each hour of structured learning under the
Self Directed Learning (SDL) Category. ESI is a Registered Education
Provider.
What is podcasting?
Podcasting makes an audio file, usually a MP3 file, available online for downloading via an automatic "feed." You can hear the podcast when you like, from your computer or a portable media player.
Do I have to subscribe to listen?
No. You can listen to or download individual episodes one-by-one from our website. You need a media player. Like a magazine, it's more convenient to subscribe because new episodes come to you.
RSS Feed
Subscribe to the ESI feed, and we will alert you as new podcasts become available.

What do I need to listen to a podcast?
You need a podcast subscription software. You may obtain this through Apple's iTunes (which has the software built in), or other services such as iPodder or Odeo, to manage your podcast subscriptions. Listen to podcast audio from your computer (make sure your computer has a sound card and can play MP3 audio files). Transfer the mp3 files from your computer to a portable media device.
How do I unsubscribe from a podcast?
If you wish to unsubscribe to a podcast, please be sure to delete the entire feed entry (not just the individual audio editions) in your subscription management software.
I subscribed to a podcast. Why don't I hear anything?
Be sure you have audio player software. Next, verify the correct
audio file was downloaded to your computer. You may need to modify
the update settings in your podcasting software to ensure that this
process occurs automatically. Check the update times in the description
and make sure that a new edition should have been posted. If an
audio file is not present and the feed time has passed, please contact
ESI.
How much does it cost to subscribe to a podcast?
ESI podcasts are free.
